Current Project
We’re working on it
Advocacy
The MNA started with a few practitioners in Missouri who understand the outdated, restrictive licensure law here as nothing more than a monopoly on nutrition advice. Thousands of qualified professionals can’t talk about food while millions more don’t have access to basic food education outside of the internet. The current law has done zero to lower lifestyle related disease like obesity and diabetes populations in our state. We fight to see this law change.
Legislation
Currently we uphold and will continue to initiate legislative efforts that will allow practitioners in the field of health and wellness to work up to their level of education and skill set in our state. As we work toward economic growth and consumer choice here in Missouri, we look for more advocates. If you are one of us, join us. You do not have to be an MNA member to participate but you must be credentialed and practicing within your scope of practice.
Be a part of something great.
